Congratulations to the Chemic boys cross-country team for their strong 4th-place team finish in the large school division at the Heritage Invitational. The varsity men were led by meet champion Tyler Pritchett and his amazing final sprint to establish a new lifetime personal best of 16:06 and just edge out the 2nd-place runner. Also scoring for Midland were Jacob Maschino (16th), Nate Streitmatter (29th), Matt Crowley (47th), and Kevin Hoefer (78th). The JV team took 3rd place in their race. They were led by top-10 finishes from Connor Lynch (3rd) and Sam Yoder (7th) with Alex Noey (14th), Nathan Striebel (32nd), and Zachariah Shealy (35th) also scoring points. The Chemics will face their next competition on Saturday, October 13th when they run at the Freeland Invitational. Race time is scheduled for 9 AM start.
