Boys Swim 5th at Tri Cities

The Chemic Men’s Swim team placed a strong 5th place in Thursdays Tri-City Championship finals.  The top scores for the Chemics were:  Tyler Slater, Richard Doktycz, Philip Steinbrunner, Jay Hendricks, Jack Duly, Travis Smith, Carter Welter, Kyle Blackwood, AC Green, Ravdeep Dhingra, Lief Joffre, Conner Patnode and Joey Adams.  Highlights for the Chemics were:  A

Chemics Host SVL Championship Meet

Midland High School played host to the 2013 Saginaw Valley League Wrestling Championship Meet on Saturday February 2nd.  The newly expanded league tournament featured 15 teams for the first time in SVL history.  Inaugural member Davison is the 2013 champion scoring 269.5 points and crowing individual champions in 8 of 14 weight classes.  Full results

Girls Tennis Sign Up

Wrestlers place at Meridian, Fenton

Last weekend your Chemic wrestlers competed at the Meridian individual tournament.  Leading the way for your Chemics was Terrance Thomas with a 3-0 first place finish.  Matt Barrons went 4-1 and so did Brad Belson and both placed 3rd.  Your Chemics came in 5th place overall and all the wrestlers did a great job.

Sport Basketball Freshman Girls Home Score 39 Away Score 38 Game Recap Midland's freshman girls basketball team's rally from a ten point fourth quarter deficit fell just short at Mt. Pleasant as the hosts prevailed 39-38. The Chemics were led by Kelly Marsh's 11 points and Kyra Dillahunity's 9.

The Chemic swim team has continued their winning ways with a win of 103 to 83 win over Bay City Western and a dominant win over Arthur Hill. Top scorers for Midland were:  Travis Smith,  Tyler Slater, Phil Steinbruner and Richard Doktycz The highlight of the meet for Midland over BCW was the crushing victory
