Meet Recap

The Chemic boys varsity cross-country team ran very well as a team on their way to a 4th place finish out of 18 teams in division II of the Holly Invitational. Sophomore Tyler Pritchett paced the team with a 10th-place finish (17:26.8). Also earning podium finishes for the Chemics were Kenny Steinhilber in 19th (17:43.5), Jacob Mutscher in 25th (17:59.1), and Nate Streitmatter in 28th (18:03.5). Jacob Maschino rounded out the top five for Midland with a solid 42nd-place finish (18:33.1). The boys JV team finished in 4th place in their race with medalist performances being run by Sam Yoder in 17th, Connor Lynch in 18th, Alex Noey in 23rd with a personal-best 19:46.0, and Henry Kessler in 25th. Rounding out the JV scoring was Seth Taylor in 31st. The next competition for the Chemics will be at the 2-mile Al Kayner Delta Invitational this coming Saturday, Sept. 22nd at 10 AM.
