Meet Recap

The Chemic girls cross-country team ran very well in the heat of the Holly Invitational earning a 5th-place podium finish out of 15 teams in division II. Senior Riley Legge paced MHS earning a 21st-place finish in a time of 21:48.0. Also earning podium finishes for Midland were Maddie Isola in 24th (21:54.1), Emma Rudisel in 29th (22:04.4), and Emily Yoder in 35th (22:33.4). Danbi Johnson rounded out the top-five point earners with a 45th-place finish (23:00.4). The Midland ladies claimed 4th place in the JV race with medal-worthy races by Maddy Witbrodt in 13th, Morgan Hallberg in 19th, and Alyssa Chritz in 25th. Maiah Jezak in 30th and Breanna Chritz in 36th rounded out the scorers for the JV squad. The ladies will run in their next competition at the Al Kayner Delta Invitational held at Delta College on Saturday, September 22nd at 9:30 AM.
