Game Recap

The girls always get pumped up and excited for our games vs Powers, this one was no different. They came out engergized and ready to fight for every 50-50 ball which we had struggled with early this season. We were tied 5-5 at the end of the first half. Lexa Wild came out of the gates ready to finish her shots and make sure she put them in the back of the net. She led our attack scoring 5 of our 8 goals and adding one assist. Jordyn Malace added 2 goals and an assist, Grace Middleton also added a goal. We led in draw controls winning 12 -7 which gave us possession, however, our turnovers are what lost us this game. Our defensive unit played really well together causing Powers to have 11 turnovers while Cassie Rammidi made 9 saves. Looking forward to our next game on Saturday at MHS @ 1:30 vs Huron Valley United if we can limit our turnovers we can be in control of our game. We are 3-3 this season.
